(Video) - Eco-sourced, handmade tagua jewelry from Noonday Collection
/Three weeks into our shelter-in-place lifestyle, as I’m trying to “Thrive in Place” (see my last post for what that means!), I find that some days I just am not up for much of anything.
All dolled up with nowhere to go. (Pictured: Abide Earrings, Calypso Earrings, and Chien Necklace, from juliegodshall.com/shop)
Other days, however, I feel creative — like yesterday, when I put on my makeup, fixed my hair, and set up lights in my bedroom to make some videos for you!
(When my 7yo asked why I was getting dolled up and I told her, she dared me to do my videos in just a shirt and underwear. I may have shown her a couple of those viral videos about that topic….But no, I did not take her up on the dare.)
Anyway, I was thinking back to last summer in Ecuador, when I earned a trip with Noonday Collection to meet our Artisan Business Partners there and explore the country. And I wanted to outline for you how some of my favorite pieces — our tagua seed pieces — come to life.
Enjoy learning about the eco-friendly process, and how it’s transforming lives in this beautiful country!
